it's in intersections that dimensions take shape.

you get the spark but don't notice it kick in
with a smile like when kids pretend
it throws you in a spin you forget you thought

you needed to forget

you let your guard down and throw yourself to the single day trend
will it move away, not to make it end?

a sweet flavour can be tasted in the air, nothing new I'd suppose otherwise - if I didn't know better (which I do)
the tired shoulders and defeated stance give way
to a zero gravity-weightless effect
feign a face, mishaps with a purpose
round and round - is it worth it?

there is no real answer you see

for all matters of the heart, there's invisibility
a neutral biology

see the ghosts move outside, from point A to point B
never-ending in their sad prophecy
sad and fearful, wishing for the answer to their prayer around
except there's more colour in their transparency somehow!

you breathe it in and it feels smooth - it's colder yet still warm, warmer than any logic or framework
"what have I always been?
the sun's been down and up millions of times
the moon has greeted it a million more
and still wrapped in desire and saudade
a new cover of protection has kept me safe
if I don't want to, I won't be seen"

dangerous smiles, those ones that are shared
between giggles and a laugh, it's better when we don't pretend
that somehow in a million sunsets and sunrises
we exist during a tiny fraction of everything
at the same time!

how come the coincidence?
how graceful of life

for a grain of sand under the ocean
to reach the dry shoreline of a beach in nowhere
a path with tremendous commotion
there truly is the end.

_______

better to be tired
better to have silence
better to be
without

external ungrateful guidance

______

such is the (hi)story of all other millions of to be's
some more fallible than others
they all stood up for passion
it's not lust, it's action

---

it's getting dark - as it will get tonight

it's decaying until another

sunrise

a million

over a million more
